Apple's X11 doesn't honor the user's environment.

If you want to duplicate apple's x11 with fink in the path, copy /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc to ~/.xinitrc, and put "source /sw/bin/init.sh" at the top.

X11 now recognizes fink again. But what about the other environment stuff? Aliases still don't work, and $PATH doesn't start with /sw/bin:/sw/sbin. Should I copy everything from ~/.bash_profile into ~/.xinitrc?

Thanks,
