I was wondering how to copy a text from, say, Netscape, to a file opened in a KDE window. For some reason, "copy-paste" does not work.
I have experienced the same thing: I was trying to copy text from an Aqua application to knode. I had to copy it to nedit and from there to knode using the 2nd mouse button.
Try to install autocutsel package. This should solve your problem.
