That was it: GEANT4 requires findutils that was not installed in my system, and thus the build was using /usr/bin/xargs. findutils should be added to the dependencies.

Thanks for the report. I fixed the xargs arguments so that it works with /usr/bin/xargs. I guess you are the first (at least to first to report) using the brand-new geant4 package. I'd be interested to hear if it produces correct results.
