System: OS 10.3.2 w/all updates, XCode w/all updates, fink-0.18.0-1
Problem:
I haven't been able to get sshd from openssh-3.7.1p1-1 to work "out of the box". On both of my machines if I am running with this sshd, whenever I try to ssh in, I get the following response:
$ ssh ldx4.psfc.mit.edu Connection closed by 198.125.178.243
The IP assignments and network connectivity are fine, and the firewall is turned off.
Questions:
1) I know that ostensibly PAM is enabled in this package.Do I need to to do something special (e.g. with a config file) to get this working?
2) If so, then shouldn't the Fink version of the package either do this too or at least say what to do in the description?
