I've got tightvnc 1.2.3-10 installed under 10.3.2. When I try to initiate a connection using vncviewer with the hostname in the command line, I get an error of the following type:
% vncviewer host.example.com:1 VNC server supports protocol version 3.3 (viewer 3.3) dyld: vncviewer multiple definitions of symbol _vis vncviewer definition of _vis /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib(vis.So) definition of _vis Trace/BPT trap
On the other hand, if I simply launch vncviewer without including the hostname, I get a dialog asking for the server name. After entering the server name, and then the password, it works correctly and reliably.
So, it works fine for me in this way, but I thought it might be useful for somebody to hear about this.
Thanks guys, Mike
