After running GNOME 2.4 successfully for a few weeks, I installed the GNOME Office from source. Everything compiled and installed okay. While the other apps seem to be okay, I can not get Abiword or Gnumeric to load properly. For Abiword, I get the following:

[Gary-K-Olsons-Computer:~]:-bash:501$: abiword &
[1] 27664
[Gary-K-Olsons-Computer:~]:-bash:502$: ps -a
PID TT STAT TIME COMMAND
425 p1 Ss 0:00.06 login -pf garykols
426 p1 S+ 0:00.78 -bash
27594 std Ss 0:00.55 -bash
27664 std S 0:00.58 sh /sw/bin/abiword
27797 std R 0:05.67 /sw/lib/AbiSuite-2.0/AbiWord-2.0
27798 std R+ 0:00.00 ps -a
[Gary-K-Olsons-Computer:~]:-bash:503$: /sw/bin/abiword: line 14: 27797 Illegal instruction /sw/lib/AbiSuite-2.0/AbiWord-2.0 $@

[1]+ Exit 132 abiword

This is the same message that Richard Stocker reported to the users-list on Jan. 10, 2004. I could not find any reply to his message. Perhaps I should just rebuild Abiword again? Any opinions?

for Gnumeric I get the following when I load it:

[Gary-K-Olsons-Computer:~]:-bash:503$: gnumeric &
[1] 27801
[Gary-K-Olsons-Computer:~]:-bash:504$:
(gnumeric:27801): GnomePrint-WARNING **: Can't create GPFontEntry, FC_FAMILY not found

** ERROR **: file pangofc-fontmap.cI: line 407 (pango_fc_font_map_list_families): assertion failed: (res == FcResultMatch)
aborting...

Any ideas? I seem to be having problems with pango? Any help would be much appreciated. I am running 10.3.2, fink dist manager 0.18.2, cvs 0.6.2 on an iMac 400 MHz DV with GNOME 2.4 and Apple's X11.

Thanks in advance.
