I noticed at the Developer Connection site that this Developer Tools
update was recently added (Feb. 16). According to the Read Me, it
"includes tools needed to build applications that have more than 67108864
bytes (or 2 to the power of 26) of executable code. It contains a new
compiler, linker, and runtime library." It also adds a -mlongcall option
to gcc. Is it safe to install this, should it be avoided, or does it matter?

Thanks,

Emily
