Whatever was going wrong for me has fixed itself, I just managed to run selfupdate (using rsync) on both my TiBook (with FinkCommander) and my G4 (command line). It used the master US mirror: rsync -az -v rsync://master.us.finkmirrors.net/finkinfo//TIMESTAMP /sw/fink/TIMESTAMP.tmp (dunno why, I'm in the UK, and configured fink to know this, I usually get the ?finnish? one). No stray console error messages.
thanks to anyone who fixed something in the back there and didn't mention it... -- Viv On Fri, 20 Feb 2004, Brandon Potter wrote: > Okay, > I tried to update again. Same problem with all mirrors.
