I missed one: gnome-print-master.h is provided by gnome-print-dev
Check and see if /sw/include/gnome-1.0/libgnome/gnome-paper.h is on your system. If it's not, then you need to reinstall gnome-libs-dev. If that fails, rebuild it.
Also look for /sw/include/gnome-1.0/libgnomeprint/gnome-print-master. If it's missing, then do gnome-print-dev, too.
I looked and saw gnome-paper.h, but not gnome-print-master. Regardless I rebuilt both gnome-print-dev and gnome-libs-dev. Afterwards I did not see gnome-print-master built in the aforementioned dir.
I next tried Martin's suggestion;

An interesting question is why you have /sw/include/gtkhtml/gtkhtml.h and why it is used here. You seem to have gtkhtml-dev installed in addition to gtkhtml3-dev. Maybe this is harmful? Try if removing gtkhtml-dev helps.
And evolution compiled without a hiccup. (I wonder if gtkhtml-dev was installed when I installed Gnucash? It requires gtkhtml-shlibs..)
Thanks Alexander and Martin..!
