I just thought I'd add a bit more information about what I have installed. I read from the Bluefish website that I need gtk 2.0 or 2.2, and I have the following:
i gtk+ 1.2.10-26 The Gimp Toolkit
i gtk+-data 1.2.10-26 The Gimp Toolkit
i gtk+-shlibs 1.2.10-26 The Gimp Toolkit
i gtk+2 2.2.4-3 GTK+ - multi-platform toolkit libraries
i gtk+2-dev 2.2.4-3 GTK+ - multi-platform toolkit development...
i gtk+2-shlibs 2.2.4-3 GTK+ - multi-platform toolkit shared libr...
i gtk-doc 1.1-12 GTK+ - API documentation generator
Also it says it needs libpcre 3.0 or higher, and I have:
i pcre 4.3-1 Perl Compatible Regular Expressions Library
i pcre-bin 4.3-1 Perl Compatible Regular Expressions Library
i pcre-shlibs 4.3-1 Perl Compatible Regular Expressions Library
Optional are libaspell, which I have:
i aspell 0.50.4.1-13 Spell checker more intelligent than ispell
i aspell-dev 0.50.4.1-13 Spell checker more intelligent than ispell
i aspell-shlibs 0.50.4.1-13 Spell checker more intelligent than ispell
and gnome-vfs:
