I recently upgraded to Fink 0.6.3 for Jaguar/gcc3.3 and I see that the version of GNU make that it has is still 3.79.1, even in the unstable branch. That version has a known crashing problem when building libc for cross-development, which was fixed in 3.80. Would it be too much trouble for the Fink team to include the newer version ASAP?
