Since my Fink installation takes up so much space and is fairly re-creatable it
doesn't make
much sense to back it up when I back-up my other data. However, I don't want to have
to
remember what packages I had installed to recreate my Fink installation. Is there
some minimal
set of files (like a list of what Fink has installed) I can back-up that will allow me
to recreate what
I have in the event of a crash?

Is it safe to assume all the packages keep any user setup data in the User's home
directory? If not,
where might they keep that data?

Thanks,
Carol
