I got no replies at all to my post, so i thought I may post it once
again...
Hello there. This is something I posted on the beginners ML, but no
one was able to answer me and I think it would be better asked here.
I am using 10.3.3, and the latest version of fink. I am using XDarwin
(actually I recently switched, before I was using apple's
implementation of X11).
I tried to install dia and gftp, two GTK based programs. They won't
launch correctly. When i try to launch them in a XDarwin terminal,
just nothing happens (but the process doesn't crash either). Simply a
display window never appears.
This never happened for any other X11 programs. I tried, after that,
to install calcoo and bidwatcher (fink claimed they were also GTK
programs). They launch correctly...
Are my GTK libraries somehow screwed up? What can I do ? The big
problem is that it doesn't produce any error msg...
