[Fink-users] freeciv from source error

I had previously installed freeciv via "apt-get" and this installed and  
worked just fine.  Today I attempted "fink update" and "fink  
update-all"
Well it must have been awhile and it had a nice big list for me, one of  
which was freeciv. Freeciv is giving this error during ./configure

checking for ngettext in -lc... no
checking for ngettext in -lintl... yes
checking whether libintl's ngettext works at runtime... no
configure: error: I haven't found a working ngettext function in your  
system.
Try --with-included-gettext or --disable-nls. Read ABOUT-NLS.
### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1
Failed: compiling freeciv-1.14.0-23 failed

Now if this is just an issue with the unstable tree just holler and I  
will attempt to revert things back to the stable package,
