Hi, I'm having some trouble with GTK2 apps (GTK1 apps seem okay):
The text in menus doesn't highlight properly; it looks like the "outside" of the characters gets cut off (as if by a cookie cutter slightly smaller than the character's bounding box). This happens in several fonts, sizes, and themes. I restarted my (bash) shells to pick up GDK_USE_XFT. Mac OS X 10.2.8; fink's xfree86-4.3.0-16, freetype-hinting 1.3.1, freetype2-hinting 2.1.3, and pango1-xft2 1.2.1. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan Sommers -- Dan Sommers Atoms are not things.
