I got a new Mac, and it of course came with Panther. I copied my /sw directory from the old mac, which was running 10.2.8. Fink was previously set to update via CVS.
I ran "fink selfupdate". It didn't work at first because I forgot to copy my .cvspass file; anway, the package info is now up-to-date, and I'm running fink 0.7.0.cvs
However, it seems that I cannot install 10.3 packages. For example, for fink under 10.2, openssh is version 3.6.1p4. But for 10.3, it should be 3.7.1p1. But when I try to update openssh (e.g. fink fetch openssh), it still wants to get 3.6.1p4.
I tried editing fink.conf to use 10.3, and changing the "dists" link to point to the 10.3 directory, but fink still wants to get 10.2 packages. How do I fix this?
Thanks, Rob
