I have no idea. Maybe nobody bothered giving positive feedback to the package's Maintainer? Or else some of its dependencies are not in stable (gotta make sure stable is completely self-reliant).

Ok, that's a place to start. As far as I can tell, all of wxgtk's BuildDepends and Depends packages are in stable. Granted, for some of these packages I have the unstable version installed, but for each of these there is a stable package of equal or greater version than prescribed by wxgtk. On a side note: it would be great if I could specify to only use unstable version when there is no stable version of the package.



So, allow me to thus say that wxgtk-2.4 works great (from a users's perspective)! please add it to stable!
