Hi!
I'm just trying to get my terminal somewhat in line with my (remote) Linux environment, which means backarrowKey=false and deleteIsDEL=false. Setting TERM=xterm makes <delete> work as expected, but the Backarrow key now has the same meaning as <delete> in emacs (no X mode), and describe-key gives C-d for it, which I don't understand at all. The other strange thing is that ctrl-h is interpreted as DEL, which makes no sense at all. Are these settings done deliberately in the fink port? Does anybody have an idea which mechanism is used to remap these keys, and how I can change it?
Thanks,
