Sure enough, the otool output includes:
/sw/lib/libdb-4.1.a(os_root.o):
/sw/lib/libdb.a(os_root.o):
/sw/lib/libdb_cxx-4.1.a(os_root.o):
/sw/lib/libdb_cxx.a(os_root.o):
otool: can't map file: /sw/lib/libgda ((os/kern)
invalid argument)
otool: can't map file: /sw/lib/libglade ((os/kern)
invalid argument)
/sw/lib/libgmp.a(root.o):
/sw/lib/libgmp.a(rootrem.o):
/sw/src/root-libgda-1.0.3-15/sw/lib/libgda-2.1.dylib
(compatibility version 3.0.0, current version 3.0.0)
/sw/src/root-libgda-1.0.3-15/sw/lib/libgda-2.1.dylib
(compatibility version 3.0.0, current version 3.0.0)
otool: can't map file: /sw/lib/libgnomeprint
((os/kern) invalid argument)
/sw/src/root-libgda-1.0.3-15/sw/lib/libgda-2.1.dylib
(compatibility version 3.0.0, current version 3.0.0)
/sw/lib/libgnomeprint-2-2.a(gpa-root.o):
otool: can't map file: /sw/lib/libgnomeui2 ((os/kern)
invalid argument)
/sw/lib/libgtkhtml-2.a(htmlboxroot.o):
/sw/lib/libguile.a(root.o):
Judging from above, it looks like the problem is
libgmp.a . So, I tried running the following commands:
sudo fink rebuild gmp gmp-shlibs
sudo fink reinstall gmp gmp-shlibs #not really
necessary, but...
That doesn't appear to have fixed the problem,
however, because I still get the exact same output
from otool. I think I've found the problem, though.
When I run the otool command through less:
otool -L /sw/lib/* | less
and then search for /sw/src (using the '/' command), I
find that the problem was actually in libgnomedb.
Rebuilding that fixed the problem.
Thanx :)
