I am sending this message again as it didn't appear to get through. I got a mail man message.
I had the same error with pwlib that Bill Buratti has:

I have not made any recent changes in my fink installation except update. I did not see any obvious errors above that the message refers to. Here is my system:
Package manager version: 0.22.1
Distribution version: 0.7.0.rsync
OSX 10.5
Apple X11
All SDK's and Xtools 1.5
