For those who have Apple's X11 installed, here is what you can do:
sudo mv /usr/X11R6 /usr/X11R6_Apple
sudo mv /etc/X11 /etc/X11_Apple
fink install xorg
-----end Original Message-----
When I run "fink install xorg", I get
xfree86 conflicts with xfree86-base-threaded
which eventually appears to result in
Failed: can't batch-install packages: /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/x11-system/xorg_6.8.0-12_darwin-powerpc.deb /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/x11-system/xorg-shlibs_6.8.0-12_darwin-powerpc.deb
Fink indicates that xfree86-base-threaded is a virtual package and it doesn't appear to be installed. Anyway, when I try to remove it, I get "nothing removed". Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
