Alternatively, "apt-get dist-upgrade" will do it as well. The only difference between "upgrade" and "dist-upgrade" is that if an installed package has an update that requires a new package that is not already installed, "upgrade" will hold things back, whereas "dist-upgrade" will install all packages necessary to meet a dependency.
