most likely you do not have the x11 SDK installed, it's on your mac osx install cd or can be downloaded at apple.

This is a small follow-up on the message where I said,
for installing gv, fink wants to install xfree86 even
though I have Apple X11 installed.

fink doesnt seem to be able to find Apple X11..

fink list x11
Information about 1852 packages read in 4 seconds.
     x11
[virtual package]
     x11-dev
[virtual package]
     x11-shlibs
[virtual package]


I dont see an "i" at the beginning of the line.

Can anyone tell me how to let fink find Apple X11?
