I am wondering now if this is caused by the fact that I purposely do not install most of the localizations. network-scheme.desktop seems filled with foreign language stuff. I am told on Linux you must purposely turn off localization during a build to avoid problems is some cases. Is there an obvious way to accomplish this with Fink?

Updating package prebindings didn't help.
