Hi all,
I am still struggling with a massive update-all (> 400 packages). I am now stuck on openmotif, which fails to compile with the error:
Xmos.c: In function `GetQualifiedDir': Xmos.c:275: error: structure has no member named `pw_age'
I did some googling on the problem, and it seems it may be related to a broken Xfree installation but I couldn't figure out how to fix it from the few messages exchanged on this topic on the fink list. Here is what 'fink list xfree' reports;

Is this the same problem reported in the FAQ 7.2, i.e. a conflict between the two versions of XFree86? If so, should I proceed as suggested there, that is by removing manually all of XFree86 (sudo rm -rf /Applications/XDarwin.app /usr/X11R6 /etc/X11) and reinstalling it with a 'fink install xfree86'?
Apologies if the questions sound naive, but I really know next to nothing about this stuff (although I'm struggling mightily to learn some...). Any help greatly appreciated.
