[Fink-users] Re: Evolution components missing?

I fink installed evolution 1.4 (osx 10.3.5, powerbook g4, xcode 1.5)
and when starting I get a series of missing component messages like
/sw/lib/evolution/1.4/components/libevolution-addressbook.so missing.
I checked the archives and couldn't find any reference. In the
directory the components are listed as .a and .la files rather than .so
files like libevolution-addressbook.a . Is there a conversion process
for the .a,.la files or what to do?

Did you ever resolve this issue? I am having the same exact problem, and I can not figure it out. When I start Evolution 1.4.6-10 I get a bunch of errors about missing components, and more specifically the *.so files. When I check the components dir listed above, I notice the *.la and *.a files, but no *.so files.

fink --version
Package manager version: 0.22.2
Distribution version: 0.7.1.rsync

Any thoughts?
