Hello list and users of octave-forge.

I need to apologize again for this problem. I released octave-forge
into stable without enough testing. I assumed that octave in unstable
and octave in stable would work the same when you link things against
them.
This turned out to be a bad assumption.

If you are interested, there were two problems with the build of
octave-forge under stable.
The first was that "mkoctfile -p SH_LDFLAGS" doesn't list all of the
required libraries to link something with octave. This was easy enough
to fix by changing the CompileScript in the .info file.
The second I'm not quite sure about. For some reason png.h isn't
getting parsed correctly. I haven't figured out yet why, but it's
possible to build octave-forge without PNG support. I'll be doing that
for now, and releasing a png-supporting version as soon as I figure out how.

I just committed these fixes. They should work their way onto the
rsync mirrors in the next few days.

  Thanks for your patience.

regards,
crh
