I have never installed the Fink popfile package but presumably it could be using /Lib/Startup to start it. Since upgrading to 10.3.6 last week it doesn't start as expected at boot time. I posted this to the POPFile Help forum:
Since updating to Mac OSX.3.6 last week my POPFile startup item fails to start POPFile. I have tweaked the plist so the only thing appearing in the logs starting after POPFile is Apple Remote Desktop. If I use the startup script manually after logging in it starts just fine, and it started fine on it's own before the upgrade. Since I'm the one building the installer package I would like to hear from anyone else that might be having a similar experience. I will try to test this on some other Macs. --MM ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
