Hello,

With my new Powerbook G4 I have a fresh install of MacOS 10.3.6
and a clean install of fink.

In slrn I use several slang-scripts that rely on extracting the
Xref-header of the current article. They worked fine with the
versions of slrn, slang and leafnode in fink 10.2-gcc3 but not
anymore.

As slrn for the 10.3 dist is the same as for 10.2-gcc3 I suspect
leafnode to produce somehow broken Xref headers.

If anybody could try the following in slrn:

In the article pager call the function "evaluate_cmd" (by default
accessed via CTRL-X ESC) and enter something like:

popup_window("Test","Subj: "+extract_displayed_article_header("subject"));

[works]

and

popup_window("Test","XH: "+extract_displayed_article_header("xref"));

[does not work but should]

Can you reproduce this?

TIA

c
