Yep, reinstalled X11 SDK, too. I just tried a reinstall (again) and deleted /Library/Receipts/X11* as suggested with the same results.

I'm also getting the following error when I try to run gftp (ssl version 2.0.16-1):

$ gftp
dyld: /sw/bin/gftp-gtk version mismatch for library: /usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.1.dylib (compatibility version of user: 2.0.0 greater than library's version: 1.0.0)

Not sure if they're related or not. I'd love to be able to install Fink software again, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You've also reinstalled the optional X11SDK?

Also, are you deleting /Library/Receipts/X11* first? Sometimes apple's installer gets a little confused...
