I was running into circular dependencies, but gtkhtml1.1-dev gtkhtml1.1-shlibs are the only packages that I haven't installed besides gnucash its self.

You need to provide more information, e.g. the last item the compiler tried to run immediately before all of the error messages. What you've posted is the end of the errors rather than the beginning, which is more useful.
