Hey Emar, I had a similar problem happen to me, and deleting the X11 
plist was the only thing that returned things to normal.  Though you 
didn't mention it, I couldn't seem to launch *any* X11 apps, not even 
xclock at the time!

Try moving it aside maybe and see if that helps.
