Hi all -- I'm trying to get atlas installed so I can use GRASS GIS, but I've got a spanking new dual g5 here, and basic fink install does not appear to be working (both the binary and the source install is failing). When it asks me for my processor, I select UNKNOWN since G5 does not appear. Below is a portion of the compile which includes the finally failure (I didn't know how much to include):
have a look at the usage notes (you can get this by typing "fink describe atlas" at a shell prompt):
Usage Notes: Order is important when linking! Use: -L%p/lib -llapack -lcblas -lf77blas -latlas Must be run interactively (asks a lot of questions, use default answers unless you really know what you are doing). For "architecture" choose "UNKNOWN" if you have a G3, "G4" if you have a G4 or a G5.
