I am at the exact same position as you concerning kde-3.4, 297 packages updated, 17 to go. I don't think we are both doing something wrong, the kdesdk3 package is still buggy, despite several fixes in the last few days.
Yes, I was out of town, and had no way/time to actually build, I could only try some temporary one-off fixes when I dialed in, to see if it at least helped people.
The real fix is to *@&#$*& fix svn's pkgconfig .pc file, which contains unexploded @SVN_FOO_BAR@ stuff in it. I've mailed the maintainer, but haven't gotten a response yet, and haven't had time to sit down and mess with SVN to fix it myself.

Success! bundle-kde-ssl-3.4.0-11 is completely installed.

I have checked in patches to svn, svn-ssl, and kdesdk3 that clean these bad variables out of svn-config and revert kdesdk3 so that it uses it once again. I removed one line from the files list in the poxml splitoff, because these files (*pothumb*) didn't exist. Feel free to fix this in a better way. I am only trying to help those of us who have been banging their head against the 'update-all' wall for the past few days.

Thanks for fixing the svn package. I am sorry that I couldn't respond earlier. But my current job has limited the time I can spend on Fink. I will try to look into that problem once svn 1.1.4 is out, which should happen in a few weeks.

Best,
Chris.
