This is very strange, it does not create a shared library for you. What
version of xcode do you have installed?

gcc (GCC) 3.3 20040913 (GNAT for Mac OS X build 1650)
Where did you get this from? This is not one of the compilers Apple distributes with its Xcode tools. If it is some /usr/local/bin/gcc, move it out of the way.


I installed gnat for OS X. gnat is the gcc-compiler for ada95. I now changed that to the original gcc. should i rebuild other packages, which are not build with the original apple compiler?
