Hi,

on good old Panther (!),

Then why do you reply in the "tiger new install" thread?

I just did a selfupdate and attempted an update-all. When the process gets to the package libsigc++2, the errors listed below cause the compilation to fail. I have gcc version 3.3 20030304.

As a gcc version number, this is not precise enough. All Apple gcc-3.3 revisions - and there were quite a few of them - called themselves gcc 3.3 20030304. One would need the build# or the Xcode version (+updates).

This actually was discussed as a bug at
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00026.html

and apparently the same bug is still in the fink package.

I just built libsigc++2 and don't get this problem (gcc build 1671).
