FYI, I just attempted a reinstall on my other PowerBook, and discovered that not only was my "base" directory missing, but the entire path:
"/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/base" ...in the "10.4-transitional" directory was missing. Again, I manually created these directories (as root) and copied in the fink_0.24.5-11 deb. This allowed me to sucessfully issue a "fink reinstall fink". Any idea why this is happeneing? Am I the only one who has seen this?
