Jean-Franois,

I am not sure to have fully understand, but I changed libsoup- ssl.info:

PatchScript: <<
perl -pi.bak -e 's,GNUTLS_CERT_(CORRUP|NOT_TRUS) TED,GNUTLS_CERT_INVALID,g' libsoup/soup-gnutls.c
<<

That's OK.
Now I am back to step one:

ld: Undefined symbols:

_gnutls_dh_params_set

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

Sorry _ don't have time today to look at it. I can think of 2 explanations:
one that you updated only gnutls-shlibs, and that an old gnutls or gnutls-dev
still lies around, the other - more dificult to envisage - that somehow something
in libsoup-ssl links against the former installed version _ eg one of the
binaries against the installed version.
If you had shown what exact command led to this output it would have been easier.
(I no longer have a deb for vers. 1.99.28 where I could see the layout..).

In the meantime can you check (a) whether updating both gnutls and gnutls-shlibs
(and removing any former gnutls-dev) fixes the problem
(b) and if not, whether the problem persists when (force-)removing the former
libsoup-ssl-shlibs and libsoup-ssl (normally the second shouldn't be necessary,
but I see that for vers 2.1.12, there is no libsoup-ssl.dylib link in the -dev
deb, so am unsure about how exactly vers 1.99.28 is structured...)

If all fails, you can still try to use the version in experimental/ gnome26
(the one I'm using _ don't remember for what specific reason.) _ but we
should understand why this failed.
