So the problem is not with the gnucash package but with the gnome 1.4
libraries building on Tiger?  I guess we'll have to sit tight on this
one.  Thank you for the information, Peter!

As a side note: I bought a copy of Quicken 2005 for Mac.  Maybe I am
just stuck in the Gnucash mindset, but it seems to me that Quicken
really sucks by comparison.  For those looking for an alternative to
gnucash, I would not suggest this as a good option.
