This is the output I get when executing a "gnome-session" command in xterm (I tried this because X11 quit every time I started up gnome from .xinitrc):
dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _EVP_idea_cbc Referenced from: /sw/lib/libssl.0.9.7.dylib Expected in: /usr/lib/libcrypto.0.9.7.dylib dyld: Symbol not found: _EVP_idea_cbc Referenced from: /sw/lib/libssl.0.9.7.dylib Expected in: /usr/lib/libcrypto.0.9.7.dylib Trace/BPT trap Whenever I try to run a gnome-related program (except gimp) in other window managers, I get the same error (and many of these programs often run fine in kde). Which package is related to "libssl.0.97" or "libcrypto.0.9.7"? It seems the program is trying to go to a nonexistent address. I'm using Apple's X11. Is the program looking for an address used by XFree86? Mostly just curious. I'm happy with using alternatives to gnome at this point!
