debconf is a different story altogether.
I left fink running in the background while I was doing some "paid"-
work so I did not recognized libgettext3-shlibs got build. I
thought it was not build because of this po-debconf-error. "fink
list" looks like this:
i libgettext3-shlibs 0.14.2-14 GNU

So I think libgettext3 is okay now.
Now here is the next problem: libgettext3-dev removes gettext-dev but
libmad wants gettext-dev. And gettext-dev removes libgettext3-dev and
vice versa.
