I thought so, but I wanted to report it just in case. :-)
Considering that one can use FinkCommander and then check "use
unstable packages" in FC and install from source, then there isn't
very much of a point to install the source tar ball, right? Or does the
source and binary dists still contain different sets of packages (IIRC
the number of packages differed between the source and binary dist a
couple of years ago)?
Or is the stable vs. unstable the reason for the number of available
packages?
