Try a "fink selfupdate" first. There's a newer revision (-57) out.
Openoffice.org just finished compiling this morning. The selfupdate
to get -57 worked. Installation completed successfully and without
running out of disk space! After a little while trying to figure out how
to run it (finally remembered the individual apps were soffice, etc. and
not "openoffice" or something like that), I am up and running.
