I was wrong, it's still broken...
Bbefore continuing my fink install bundle-kde today I did a fink
selfupdate and a fink update-all. pango1-xft2 got updated
sucessfully. When I continued the fink install bundle-kde pango1-
xft2 was installed and failed. What happened?
I got around the __cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart error error by doing
setenv DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH "" (I use tcsh) before running fink
install pango1-xft2. This was recommended for fixing the issue when
installing R.
Was this an OK thing to do? If not, PLEASE tell me in a couple of
sentences how to copy the PatchScript from gnome/vte.info into the
current .info file?
