Hi,

I use mac os 10.3.9 and fink 0.24.9 (distribution version 0.7.2.rsync).

I lauched an install of openoffice.org this morning, the packages dowload
takes a long time and are still in progress, but fink is currently
downloading mozilla-source-1.7.5.tar.bz2 which seems weird.
Is one of openoffice.org's dependancy available only by downloading
the source-code for mozilla?

Here is the complete output so far (sorry for the crappy presentation):

$ fink install openoffice.org

The following 9 additional packages will be installed:

<here is the progress of the current dowload which I can't copy-paste
properly because the line keeps changing>

What's even wierder I think is that I did a fink selfupdate and a
fink update all before that, and there were no packages to install.
I have the latest version of mozilla installed:

$ fink list mozilla
Information about 5021 packages read in 14 seconds.
 i   mozilla           1.7.5-2       Mozilla - full install
 i   mozilla-browser   1.7.5-2       Mozilla - web browser
 i   mozilla-chatz...  1.7.5-2       Mozilla - irc client
     mozilla-dev 1.7.5-2 Mozilla - development headers and libraries
 i   mozilla-dom-i...  1.7.5-2       Mozilla - DOM inspector
 i   mozilla-js-de...  1.7.5-2       Mozilla - java script debugger
 i   mozilla-mailnews  1.7.5-2       Mozilla - mail and news support
 i   mozilla-psm       1.7.5-2       Mozilla - personal security manager
 i   mozilla-shlibs    1.7.5-2       Mozilla - shared libraries

I will let fink continue and tries to see what it does, but I have
not redirected the output to a file and I won't have time to check
frequently enough to check if it, for instance, tries to compile
mozilla.
If anyone has a tip to capture the future output to a file though I'm
willing to do it and scan the file myself or publish it (I don't
think this is possible though).
Or should I kill the install, remouve everything in /sw/src, and try
to run fink install openoffice again to see if I observe the same
behavior?

Cheers,
Clemence
