I guess if openoffice wants to build each and every package that Fink already
has, then it will also have to contain a complete collection of patches :-)
Think positive...when OOo first appeared for Tiger it built
every one of the languages even if you only wanted en-US!
It didn't take too long for the Todai Fink team to produce
language package splitoffs when this was requested, so maybe
they'll streamline the build further by using existing fink
packages as things get more stable...(how about it guys? 18
hrs on a dual G5 is still a bit epic...most of us need to
use our processors for doing other things).
