I searched the mailing list archives and couldn't find anything about this.
I'm having an error trying to upgrade vim to 6.3-5. I'm doing a fink update-all immediately after selfupdate. During the "generating help tags" step, the crash reporter comes up with this: 2005-11-21 20:27:52 -0800 EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x01505000 Thread 0 Crashed: 0 strcpy + 96 1 0x1000 + 241560 2 0x1000 + 256948 3 0x1000 + 278240 4 0x1000 + 456892 5 0x1000 + 7352 6 0x1000 + 7008 The output on the terminal at this point is this: generating help tags /sw/src/fink.build/root-vim-6.3-5/sw/bin/vim -u NONE -esX -c "helptags ." -c quit ^C^C^Cmake[1]: *** [vimtags] Killed make: *** [installruntime] Interrupt ### execution of cd failed, exit code 2 Removing build lock... /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-vim-6.3-5 (Reading database ... 17258 files and directories currently installed.) Removing fink-buildlock-vim-6.3-5 ... Failed: phase installing: vim-6.3-5 failed I have to kill -9 a vim process which chews up CPU forever. Control-C doesn't give me back the prompt, as you can see above. I have XCode 2.2 installed. $ fink --version Package manager version: 0.24.11 Distribution version: 0.8.0.rsync Anybody have any idea what the problem is or what I could try to fix it?
