I'm doing a "fink update-all". If I deinstall both versions of autoconf (autoconf and autoconf2.5), it installs autconf2.5, then tries to install autoconf and bombs. If I install autoconf, it removes it, installs autconf2.5, installs several other things, tries to reinstall autoconf and bombs.

How do I get around this? Usually just removing the offending package with "dpkg -r --force-depends"
will do the trick, but this loop seems unbreakable.
