(Yeah, it looks like an oxymoron!) I've added a persistent package for cvs-1.11.21 in the guise of the cvs-unstable package. This is currently the upstream highest-numbered "stable" version, and I've provided it primarily as a fallback for 10.3 users who are experiencing difficulties with a checkout on 1.12.13--the built in version for that OS is very old and doesn't support a lot of useful features.
This package and the cvs package _should_ replace each other cleanly. I'd like to get feedback on this package (especially from 10.3 users) so that I can add it to stable before the CVS freeze. -- Alexander K.
