I've tried to install SVK via Fink but the self-tests for dependcy package
"svk-pm586" failed ... I saw a reference to a similar issue here:

How do you disable the self-tests? Ideally, however, I want to install cleanly;
that's what Fink is for, correct? Especially when it looks like the tests are
concerned with push-pull, commit, smerge -- functions I want to use regularly.
This is with a vanilla install of Fink 0.8.0, and it was the first thing I
tried to install.
